Grieving
Comforted by this song this morning. A friend posted it as her little brother passed away this morning from a car accident. My heart is grieving for her. My Grandpa is headed to Heaven too. We don't know how long, only God knows. Selfishly I really want him to stay here with us longer. But talking with the girls about what Bobby will get to do in Heaven someday reminds me of how wonderful it will be for him. He will get to see God and be completely healed from the pain of this cancer. He will see his father who passed away when he was only 4. Maybe see Muffin and Samantha again, Elle said maybe he will get to swim with sharks because in Heaven sharks will be nice. He'll get to meet grandchildren and great grandchildren that none of us ever got to meet yet. I wonder if their will be lots and lots of mango and breads and maybe pizza for him, or a heavenly equivalent as he hasn't been able to eat wheat for so long. Maybe God will put him in charge of some gardening. I wonder if their will be a Piano for him to play on. I feel kind of like a selfish child watching someone go off and move to someplace wonderful. Really wishing he could stay here with us, or we could all go with him now too. But I know someday we'll all get to go, but it's hard to be patient.

And fail. Was trying to get her to sleep in sisters bed again, and she fell asleep happily within minutes, but peed or something and woke screaming bloody murder asking for "my nen nen" my desitin (Yes I used Desitin, one way I'm not natural I know. And I know it ruins Cloth Diapers, only give it to her with panties) and now begged for "wash bottom". was trying tide on our cloth diapers after hearing several positive reviews and it was cheaper, but going to have to switch back to rockin' green for Claira's sensitive skin and our diapers have been leaking more. Rockin Green should arrive at our door tomorrow, and tide wasn't a big gamble as we can use it on our clothes.
PS Don't judge my grout. I know it needs scrubbed.

Trying out bean threads for dinner. Had a pack sitting in the pantry for quite some time now. Had a little chicken and a few baby carrots and made a simple stir fry. Not my favorite, but able to get it down. Kinda the consistency of jello which I've always had trouble eatting growing up. love pad thai noodles, but they have more firmness to them. these bean threads are melty and strange. but they filled us quickly!
Girls and I have been working on cleaning up, decluttering, and decorating for fall. I went through their toys and threw a big bag full of broken or cheep happy meal kind of toys away that they didn't ever really play with. We also came up with a better solution to their games, puzzles, and special toys. We've been keeping their toys paired up by type in different baskets (Kitchen food, Kitchen pots/pans, baby toys, blocks, Noah's ark, stuff like that) but now we've added a library type system to it all. If they want to "check out" a basket of toys or a puzzle or a game, they have to come to Daniel or I and have us write down in a special reserved notebook who got it out and when it's "due" back to be put away again (normally just by bed time) They can check it back in early if they want to get something else out. The house has stayed much cleaner and the girls actually think it's fun to have a library system. It's funny too how much happier they have been with a clean playroom to run around in. They just needed a little help to figure out how to keep it clean. I'm thankful to not come out and find every single piece of every game all mixed up on the floor too! What a headache! But not anymore!

Natasha drew this several weeks ago when I was having a misscariage scare. Was in bed for several days and the girls knew I was sad as they cuddled with me. Found this later and asked her what she had drawn and she said it was me crying. The swirls coming out of my eyes are tears. She also drew a swirl in my tummy that was supposed to be the baby. so sweet of her feeling my emotions. Although normally I would punish her for drawing on a toy.

God working through us
I was kinda turned off by the title of this sermon today, sounded like a get rich by doing these things kinda sermon title. I went ahead and listened to it and it was actually really good and convicting. It's more about how can we adjust ourselves to be in tune and ready to obey God. Cleaning out the pipe of our lives so God can shine through and work through us. Not our will, but His be done. Not our success, but Him working through us His perfect will.
