God working through us
An email devotional I received in my Inbox today written by a friend of ours, Bill Moeny.
The key is to go to Him as a little child: humble, helpless, and yet fully convinced our heavenly Father will take care of us.
We need only ask, and He will do so, if it is in His will. But we do have to ask.
We need to build the relationship so we know what He wants us to do, we know His plans for us, and we know how He wants us to join Him in His work. It takes time. But there is no better investment.
Spending the time with Him to get His heart on the matter, and then to ask Him according to His will, His purposes, His ways, and His character will make more difference to our businesses and to our lives than anything else we can do.
Have you ever been faced with an impossible situation, something that was far too hard for you to do? I have, and I bet you have also.
If you have not, you will, if you are serious about your relationship with God through Jesus.
You can either gut it out and try your best (which will not be sufficient), or you can go to God and tell Him: “I cannot do this on my own”. His response might be: "I know. I structured it this way for you. Now let us get on with it."
You do not believe me? Consider the following promise from Jesus:

You do not believe me? Consider the following promise from Jesus:
"Whatever you ask in My name (according to my will, my purposes, my ways and my character) I will do it, that the Son may bring glory to the Father." John 14:13.
Or how about this promise from Jesus:
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.” John 15:7
Do you see the word "whatever"? The core issue is making sure that what we request is what He wants to do. That is why remaining in Him is so crucial.
We need to know what He wants to do in the situation, and that takes time: time to adore Him, time to listen to what is on His heart, time to know Him, and time to read His Scriptures to know Him and know His voice. It takes time.
Impossibilities only appear that way to us. They do not appear so to Him:
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

Making the most of the energy burst God gave me. . .even at midnight (daniel was closing shift tonight). Picked up and vaccumed the bedroom (surprizingly girls slept through it), cleaned the kitchen, made ice, organized my purse junk got a midnight snack of carrots and milk. I think that afternoon nap threw me off a bit. But sleepy and ready for bed now!

God's way is the best way

God's way is the best way

Either our way or God's way
Doing things God's way is always best, but we don't always choose His way.
Exodus 2:11 Moses doing things his way
It's never the wise way to do it our way.
He loves us unconditionally, He has a will and a purpose and a way, sometimes it's not easy, or it runs against the grain, but it's still the best.
The first prerequisite is this:
Have an encounter with God. Acknowledge He sent Jesus to die for you for your sins so that you can live and walk with Him
God will provide everything we need when were doing it His way. God takes full responsibility for the consequences and to provide everything we need to get the job done.
"God we'll suppose this happens?" There is no supposing with God. He knows the consequences.
God will banish the fear. You may feel some fear as you take the first steps, but the longer you walk the less you'll fell the fear and
I haven't given you the spirit of fear but of power
Isaiah 41 Do not fear for I am with you surely I will uphold you
If you have omnipotence with you do you need anything else?
Focus on him. Don't anxiously look about you.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart lean not on thine own understanding
God assumes the responsibility of empowering you.
God has used the most unlikely people to do fantastic things for Him.
If God is with you you are adequate to face any circumstance in life no matter what it is. . . If you don't believe that you cripple yourself. . .You'll be shocked how clearly He will speak direction to you. He's just waiting for you to turn to Him.
You'll see the power of God working in most unusual ways.
It wasn't what Moses did, it's what God did through Him.
How often does God move in our lives and we don't stop to give him credit?
We begin to learn God's ways.
We learn that God can use us in our weakness and our frailties. He can do mighty things.
God can accomplish more in a brief period of time than we could in a lifetime in our ways.
Do it God's way, watch God do it.
When we do it God's way God gets maximum credit and honor and Glory.
Since God has a plan and purpose for your life, and since he has and desires the very best for you, are you willing to surrender to him?
There is no way to lose doing it God's way. There is no way to win doing it our way.

Filling our bank with promises
As we get more excited for the prospect of opening our, or should I say His coffee shop someday, this sermon really encouraged me.

-Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
-Meditate on the word day and night. Consistently. God wants us to Obey him. How can we obey without hearing and listening.
-How are you going to know how to be a Godly Mother/Father/Daughter/Son without having a continuous conversation with God?
1. Fruits of it: Quiets your spirit. Best counselor in the World is God.
2. Purifies our heart
3.Sharpens our perception: you begin to understand things you weren't understanding.
Want to be rich? Have a promise bank and fill it with promises from God. If you don't read the word your bank will be empty. You're concerned about putting money in the bank? The best thing you can put in your bank is promises in the bank God has given you in your heart. You'll be rich. You'll be prosperous. When you ask other people what you should do. Be careful who you're asking. Be careful they're giving Godly counsel and not just trying to make you feel good.
When you obey it builds your faith and enlarges our view of God, and guides us to success.
He doesn't want us to be a failure in anything we do. He may allow us to fail in order to teach us something He wants us to learn in order for us to be a the success He wants us to be.
Romans 8:28
When a man or a woman has the conviction that he or she doing the work God wants him to do, he has a zeal and a courage in his soul that all the forces of this world cannot destroy.
Are you doing what God has called you to do?
Joshua 1:8
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Always wise to obey God.
You've got the best inside of you. The Holy Spirit. Listen to Him and Obey him.
I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with My eye on you, I will give counsel. Psalm 32:8
14Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we askq anything according to His will, He hears us.r 15And if we know that He hears whatever we ask,s we know that we have what we have asked Him for.t 1 John 5:14-15
God is leading Daniel and I and it's so very exciting! Can't wait to see what all He does and how He invites us to join in!
