My sweet girls, I don't deserve them! Gave me a reflexology treatment tonight before I put them in bed. I didn't even ask for it. They seem to sense when I'm exhausted just like dogs. haha! and now they are training claira in the family gift of reflexology. :) Love them!

Oh poo! I turned around for a second to get dressed. I look over and see claira deep in happy thoughts and she looks at me and says mmm! she got a pice of gum from the box the girls just put on my bed. really dont want to keep giving her gum yet. ill have to be extra sneaky when giving the girls some now that she knows what it tastes like.

Not so common for elle to fall asleep in the car in just 5 min of driving. girls wok up early and swtayed up late today. Thankfully tomorrow is planned to be relaxed. No plans. Just chilling at home.

Elles been an inventive little girl. She took the sheer lining over the princes dress and pinned it to tashis head like a veil. dont mind the messy living room.had a friend over today and havent cleaned up from it yet.

Lentil soup for lunch. Thankfully all the girls like it and all three of them asked me for more seconds. Trying to make all food that doesnt need cooked this hot hot summer. But today i had to either microwave it or heat it on the stove, but didnt heat the house up much if at all. tonight some kind of cold massaged kale salad with pumpkin seeds.

Pasta, tuna, balsamic vinigar, artichoke hearts, garlic, pumpkin seeds, parmesean. turned out great!

Conquering Faith recalls past victories. We become aware of God's power in past victories.
vs. 34 "Your servant was tending his father's sheep
That's why keep a journal or setting up markers to remember what He has done for us is so good.

Conquering Faith re-examines and reaffirms the proper motivations for going into battle is pure
vs. 30

Conquering Faith rejects the discouraging words of others.
vs. 28
If you listen to the negative stuff from people who have no faith you'll never get anything done. The most important thing is our intimate relationship with God so we can hear from Him louder than the negative around us.
David didn't panic when he saw Goliath because he watching what the Living God was doing.

Poor little baby. been throwing up for the past 12 hours on and off. Thankful shes getting rest now. Praying it doesnt spread. Daddy and the big girls went on a date to get me a birthday present so they could have something fun to do away from the germs.

" What is it in your life that you want to know more than you want to know Jesus? What is it you have a passion for?  When hear people say we'll she's she's just my life. Their priorities are totally out of order. . .  He's my life, no! Or my vocation is my life. NO! There should only be one person that fits that category and that is Christ."

Passion means an overwhelming intense strong desire towards something or someone else.

A passion to know God, a passion for God.
An overwhelming, intense, strong, desire to know God.
An ever growing deep relationship with Him. intimate, ongoing, growing.

Most of us want to stretch our hand to Him and not our heart.

Philippians 3:3-21

3 For we are the circumcision, the ones who serve by the Spirit of God, boast in Christ Jesus, and do not put confidence in the flesh— 4 although I once also had confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised the eighth day; of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; regarding the law, a Pharisee; 6 regarding zeal, persecuting the church; regarding the righteousness that is in the law, blameless.

7 But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ. 8 More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ[b]—the righteousness from God based on faith. 10 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

Reaching Forward to God’s Goal

12 Not that I have already reached the goal or am already fully mature, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brothers, I do not[c] consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, 14 I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly[d] call in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore, all who are mature should think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.16 In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained. 17 Join in imitating me, brothers, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us. 18 For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame. They are focused on earthly things, 20 but our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. 21 He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

The Pathway of Faith prt. 1

Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.

"If you love Me, you will keep My commands." John 14:15

We can't just do whatever we want and think it will all work out. We have to be in His will obeying.

Just read the Presidential Prayer Team's daily devotional for today and it too was talking along the same lines:

There is no better book on human psychology than the Bible. Its insights on behavior aren’t found so profoundly anywhere else. Like today’s verse, for instance. A man wrecks his own life but does he shoulder the blame for himself? No, he turns around and in ranting blames God.

When a man’s folly brings his way to ruin, his heart rages against the Lord. Proverbs 19:3

Perhaps you have known them – men or women who have professed being Christians but whose life is tarnished with immorality. They bring themselves to shame, but will often say that Jesus wasn’t there, or somehow God failed them. It is a slippery slide from obstinacy into apostasy. Theologian W. F. Adeney said, “It is monstrous to charge the providence of God with the consequences of actions which He has forbidden.”

God has provided light for His people to walk in, so they will not trip and fall in the darkness that surrounds them. The Lord has shown in His word the ways that avoid foolishness and sin.

Pray that America will turn from its obstinate ways into the light of God’s truth. Intercede for the nation’s leaders to abandon their follies and seek after the Lord who has promised to be gracious and compassionate.  

He's so fun to babysit! just woke from an hour morning nap.

Elles using one of those plastic salad knifes daniel bought her to help me with dinner. She squeeled "im doing it! im so proud of myself!" strawberry salads with salmon tonight.
